Thanks for your interest in becoming a member of OUJS. By becoming a member, you will:

• get discounted or free entry to all of our events
• get priority on ticketed events
• be able to take advantage of our weekly free Japanese language classes
• be subscribed to our members mailing list, containing exclusive society and Japan-related news and information
• be able to take advantage of our special member discounts at restaurants and stores in Oxford
• and of course most importantly - get a shiny new OUJS membership card, and support us in our goal of bringing a deeper understanding of Japan and Japanese culture to Oxford!
  

To join, membership fees are as follows as of October 2008:

• University Members: £10 (1 year) OR £15 (life)
• Non-University Members: £12 (1 year) OR £17 (life)

The easiest way to become a member is to just turn up at a Japan society event and pay for your membership there. However, alternatively you can send a cheque for for the appropriate amount made payable to "Oxford University Japan Society" to OUJS Membership Secretary, Helen Rushton, Exeter College, Oxford OX1 3DP, with a completed application form. We will then make sure that you are subscribed to the members mailing list and send you details of our events on a regular basis. The membership form can be downloaded here.

Please note that in general, payments can only be processed during term time.
