Welcome to OUJS

Oxford University Japan Society (or OUJS for the popular abbreviation) is a vibrant student run society which aims to introduce and promote the enjoyment of Japanese culture and provide an interface between Japanese students in Oxford and those with an interest in Japan, whatever shape or form that interest may take.

Please see our events page for an idea of what we get up to, or visit our language class page for more information on our weekly free Japanese lessons.

Just to remind everyone that our language classes will begin at 18:00 on the 22nd October. The venue is the oriental Institute, to which a map can be found here. Please arrive on time so that we can split students into groups. We hope to see you there. Remember that we will also be going to the Royal Oak afterwards for our weekly pub meet. I'll also bring a shogi board with me in case anyone wants to learn to play.
