This coming Tuesday we will be holding the OUJS Annual General Meeting and Elections. This is an important event for all members, as it is where the current committee report back on the previous year and is also an opportunity to elect the next committee of the society. Running for a position is a great way to become more involved in the society and have a say in how the society is run, as well as how events are organised.

Immediately after elections, we will be showing Studio Ghibli's latest film 崖の上のポニョ (Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea). This is a wonderful, light hearted film from the director of Spirited Away which took Japan by storm on its release last summer. So even if you don't feel like running, come along, if you're a member use your vote, then sit back and enjoy the latest masterpiece from the legendary Hayao Miyazaki! The perfect way to take a break from all that revision! The film will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
